In general, you can use my website without providing any personal information. If personal information is collected (e.g., via a contact form or newsletter), it is always provided voluntarily.

a) When visiting the website
When you visit my website, information is automatically sent from the browser on your device to the Squarespace server.
This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file.
The following information is collected:
– IP address of the requesting computer
– Date and time of access
– Name and URL of the file accessed
– Website from which the access originated (referrer URL)
– Browser used and, if applicable, your computer’s operating system
The data is collected and stored by Squarespace (Squarespace Ireland Ltd., Le Pole House, Ship Street Great, Dublin 8, Ireland).
The processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable provision of the website).

b) Contact via email or form
When you contact me, the information you provide (e.g., name, email address, message) will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry.
Data processing is carried out in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (precontractual measures) or (f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry).
c) Newsletter (via Squarespace Email Campaigns)
If you subscribe to my newsletter, I will store the email address you provide and, if applicable, your name, in order to send you regular updates with inspiring content and information about my offerings.
Sign-up is done via the double opt-in process, meaning you will only receive emails once you have actively confirmed your subscription via a confirmation link.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
You can revoke this consent at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any email.
Squarespace Email Campaigns is a service provided by Squarespace Ireland Ltd., Le Pole House, Ship Street Great, Dublin 8, Ireland.
Data is processed on servers in the United States. Squarespace guarantees an adequate level of data protection through the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
d) Online appointment scheduling (Calendly)
I use Calendly, a service provided by Calendly LLC, 88 N. Jackson St., Suite 513, Atlanta, GA 30309, USA, to schedule appointments.
If you schedule an appointment via my booking link, the data you enter there (name, email, appointment time) will be transmitted to Calendly.
Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual communication).

e) Payment processing (PayPal)
I use PayPal, a service provided by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg, to purchase products or services.
When you use PayPal, payment data (name, email address, amount, payment information) is transmitted to PayPal.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (contract fulfillment).

f) Squarespace Analytics
I use Squarespace Analytics to gain insights into how my website is used.
Aggregated, anonymous data is collected regarding page views, visitor numbers, countries, and devices used.
Data processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest in optimizing the website).
No personal profiles are created.
4. Cookies
Squarespace uses cookies to ensure the website functions properly, provide basic features, and collect anonymized statistics.
When you first visit the website, a notification banner appears, allowing you to give your consent to optional cookies.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the functionality of the website).
