Space and Rhythm
What's keeping you going right now?
For me, it's a room.
Oasis.
Studio.
Retreat.
Playroom.
Research Lab.
Dream Meadow.
Every detail in it tells a story.
And everything turned out beautifully. And that’s important to me.
Because I’ve come to believe:
Beauty is not a luxury. It is nourishment.
Over the past few months, I've fallen in love all over again: with the process.
Deconstruct.
Connect.
Discard.
See anew.
I have practiced, researched, taught, experimented, written, hiked, sung, painted, slept, laughed, cried, and loved.
In short: I have lived.
My head was full.
My heart was, too.
And every now and then, a small missing piece of the puzzle would become apparent.
Quietly, something new emerged from it: a rhythm.
Rhythm Instead of Routine.
Routine has often made me feel confined.
Rhythm carries me.
It gives me structure—and at the same time, room to breathe.
I can move through it.
Improvise.
Pause.
Start over.
And little by little, this inner rhythm is beginning to become apparent.
Monday — Arrival
Tuesday — Alignment
Wednesday — Life
Thursday — Expansiveness
Friday — Expression
Saturday — Return
Sunday — Integration
Not as a rigid system. But as a guide.
Like breath. Or a landscape through which one moves.
By the way, that's also when I wrote my books.
And as I write this, this room continues to change.
Quiet.
Step by step.
With windows and doors open to the world.
More on this coming soon.
Until then, I hope you have a gentle spring awakening.
And maybe a little more room for your own rhythm, too.
With love and at your own pace,
Jeannette
