May Brings All That Is Beautiful
Dear fellow travelers,
I'm really loving life out there right now. Everything is blooming. Flowers between the sidewalk slabs. Evenings by the river. People are spending more time outside again. Windows are open.
And suddenly, the whole world seems to be breathing a little easier again.
A lot of things are starting to fall into place for me, too. Not with a big bang. More like something that’s slowly coming back to life.
Every year, May reminds me of this: Life cannot be forced. It emerges when the conditions are right—when there is enough warmth, enough light, and enough space.
Over the past few months, I've been building a lot—and not just on the outside. Spaces. Rhythms. New ways of working. New relationships with myself.
And at the same time, I realize: I don’t just want to organize my life. I also want to feel it again. Laugh more. Spend more time outdoors. Play more. Have more genuine connections. Find more beauty in everyday life.
Because, to me, beauty isn't just something superficial. It reminds me that life isn't just about getting by.
Perhaps that is why so many of us long for nature, music, physical touch, art, and community. Not because we are unproductive, but because something within us wants to come alive again.
Regulation is not the goal. It is the foundation on which vitality can flourish: humor, creativity, expression, closeness, and play.
Perhaps that is where a different understanding of growth begins. Not harder. Not faster. But more honest. More connected. More vibrant.
Right now, I'm spending a lot of time juggling building projects, spring air, ideas, herbs, notes, and little moments of openness. And slowly, something new and genuine is emerging from all of this.
Maybe you're feeling something similar right now?
So here’s what I wish for you this May: more space for whatever wants to grow within you.
With love and a touch of mischief,
Jeannette
